Spike Mendelsohn gets busier

If having his own fast causal restaurant on Capitol Hill, Washington D.C., and being a Top Chef Star wasn’t enough, Spike Mendelsohn has launched his own recipe cooking book titled The Good Stuff Cookbook.

The multifaceted man who has a fetish for everything even remotely connected to food and restaurant business also presented the award at the 2010 National Restaurant Association Show. He was there in Chicago to present the Dawn Professional “Make Your Restaurant Shine” contest award to the winner Martha Balkowsi.

Martha is the owner of Jordan’s Bar and Grill in Ridgway, Pennysylvania.

Mendelsohn said that he could connect with Martha because when he had started, he was actually a dishwasher at the back of his parent’s restaurant and thus he is aware of the trials and tribulations and the importance of keeping a restaurant clean. He also knows the difference between the use of a good product and a bad one.

Mendelsohn said that he pays special attention to the cleanliness and presentation of his own restaurant and has equipped his chefs with the best products so that the food and everything else is the best.
He also launched his recipe book Good Stuff Cookbook and presented some of those present at the show with an autographed copy of the book.

His Good Stuff Eatery, the stylish restaurant at the Capitol Hill, Washington D.C. presents the customers with a delectable combination of fries, burgers and shakes- everything that is quintessentially American.
